I like this book for getting students excited for school and what to expect。 This would be awesome to read on the first day and can create conversation about school and what to expect。

Summer is coming to a close， and while Brother Bear is excited for school to start， Sister Bear is nervous for her first day of kindergarten。 Mama Bear and Sister Bear visit the school， and many of her worries are assuaged。 Sister Bear quickly falls in love with school， and even convinces Brother Bear to enjoy it as well （even when he misses summer vacation！）。

These books are definitely Classics that every classroom should have and that every child should read。 This book is about the three kids and think summer vacation and starting school up again。 The pictures are very colorful and show the Expressions on the faces it follows the kids troubles with getting to school and while they are also at school。 these books are very cute and I enjoyed reading it。

I would recommend this book to children， teachers， and parents。 The story has a good length， not too long but not too short。 Also， the story consists of realistic events and contains descriptive illustrations all throughout that relate to the events。 This helps children to stay engaged and follow along easier。 Most importantly， I liked that there was a specific storyline。 This allows children to relate to the events and recognize the similarities in their daily schedule。

Lame。 Maybe all of these are lame。 But then again all of these are situational which was always the point。 No matter what you were going through， there was always a relatively lame Berenstain Bear book to at least approach the issue sideways。

i love this book。 i read it to my daughter right before she was getting ready to start kindergarten because inside this novel all the bears were ready for school except sister bear。 it was her first year at school and was worried what it would be like。 great book！

tThe Berenstain Bears books were a staple in my house。Often being bought by my parents to teach me a lesson。Starting school， starting anything new can be scary for kids， this book can hopefully lessen their fears and help them get excited about school。

The Berenstain Bears go on a lot of adventures。 The first day of Kindergarten can really be stressful for young children and bears！ This is a good text to work through those first days of school jitters。 It can start discussions to get kindergartners more comfortable with the idea of what fun school can be。 Second-graders should be able to read it to those little kids and can be used as a text set for first day of school books。
